Harmony Shuts Down Its Blockchain and Moves ONE Token to Ethereum

Harmony proposed sunsetting its Layer 1 blockchain, seven years after its 2019 mainnet launch. The ONE token will migrate to Ethereum via airdrop, requiring no holder action. Validators can stop nodes from Sept. 10 and share a $1.37 million compensation pool, following an August exploit.
