The House rejected Rep. Eli Crane's amendment to block Pentagon funding for Ukraine security assistance, except for U.S. embassy security. The National Defense Authorization Act amendment failed 76-350 on Tuesday night. The overwhelming defeat showed bipartisan support for continued Ukraine aid. The NDAA now moves forward without the restriction, maintaining current levels of military assistance to Ukraine.
