Ripple Swell Sees Bessent Bring a Plan B for the Stalled CLARITY Act

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Ripple’s Swell conference in New York on Oct. 27 that the Treasury will work with the SEC and CFTC to fill the regulatory gap left by the Clarity Act’s failure in the Senate. Bessent said the Treasury has 'a lot of convening powers' to coordinate crypto oversight.
