Santander CIB's UK Chief Economist Victoria Clarke said the UK fiscal trajectory printed in Chancellor John Healey's Budget 'does not look brilliant but it looks okay and it wasn't massively worse, but it needs to be delivered.' Her comments at a London event suggest the Budget placated gilt markets, though delivery risks remain.
