ThreatFabric disclosed a new Android banking trojan called StreamRat, promoted to Spanish-speaking users via fake TV-streaming ads on Meta. The campaign focused on Spain, reaching an estimated 570,950 Meta accounts in the EU. StreamRat can give operators near-complete control of infected devices, posing significant mobile security risks.
