Bitget Hack Hits Hot Wallets, but Private Keys Stay Secure

Bitget confirmed a $351.6 million hack affecting parts of its hot and warm wallet infrastructure. CEO Gracy Chen said attackers spoofed transaction data after compromising a backend wallet system. Bitget stated private keys were not stolen and cold wallets remained secure. The exchange paused withdrawals during its security review, while deposits and other operations continued.
