RippleX fixed an XRPL bug that could have minted 18 trillion XRP. The payment-engine vulnerability had been in the code since 2015 and was patched in XRP Ledger version 3.4.1 on Sept. 25. The fix prevents a potential exploit that could have created an enormous amount of the token.
