Joe Lubin’s Consensys to Split Into Two Companies With MetaMask as Standalone Entity

Consensys Software Inc., founded by Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin, will split into two independent entities. The current entity will rebrand to MetaMask, while the new entity keeps the Consensys name. Lubin will serve as CEO of one company and Executive Chairman of the other.
