OpenSSL released fixes on September 29 for a high-severity DTLS flaw that can leak heap memory unencrypted to the other side of a connection or crash the program. The vulnerability occurs when a handshake message is resent while a larger message is stuck part-way, affecting UDP traffic. Users are urged to update to the patched versions immediately.
