WIPEOUT: GOP LOSES HOUSE AND SENATE

Democrats won control of both the House and Senate in Tuesday's elections, AP projects, flipping deep-red Senate seats in South Carolina, Kansas, and Texas. James Talarico defeated Ken Paxton in Texas, Adam Hamilton ended a 94-year Republican streak in Kansas, and Gina Hinojosa won the Texas governorship. Former President Obama called it a message for unity and solutions.
