China-linked cyber espionage actor Fire Ant expanded its campaign beyond VMware hypervisors to compromise Cisco IOS XR routers, TACACS servers, and Linux management hosts. The intrusion targeted high-value networks used for routing, authentication, and management, according to incident response firm Sygnia.
