Consumer confidence dips in September amid inflation concerns

U.S. consumer sentiment dipped to a four-month low in September, according to the University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers. The index fell to 48.1, a seven percent decrease from August and 15 percent less than a year ago, amid rising inflation and cost-of-living concerns.
