Base Attacker Loses Funds to MEV Bot After $500,000 Wallet Drain

An attacker drained approximately 500,000 USDC from a victim on the Base network, according to PeckShield. The attacker's subsequent token swap lacked slippage protection and was sandwiched by an MEV bot, reducing proceeds to about 67 WETH. The attacker lost funds to the bot.
