BNY Mellon Expands Tokenized Treasury Plans as Ripple's RLUSD Gains Institutional Momentum

BNY Mellon is accelerating its digital asset strategy, planning to support around-the-clock settlement for tokenized and conventional U.S. Treasuries. The bank has completed after-hours Treasury transactions with stablecoin issuers and plans to launch tokenized U.S. Treasuries on its private blockchain before end of 2026, boosting institutional adoption of blockchain infrastructure.
