FDA approves new blood test for Alzheimer’s disease

The FDA granted approval for a new Alzheimer's disease blood test, marking the fourth such approval in less than two years. Roche announced Sunday that the FDA approved its Elecsys Phospho-Tau blood test for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease. This is the fourth such test approved in that timeframe.
