Israeli military conducts massive "power projection" operation near Iran's border

Dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets conducted a massive sortie on Monday, flying as far as the Iranian border, over 800 miles away, according to Israeli and U.S. officials. The operation, described as a training exercise, occurred a week before Israeli elections and on the same day Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth met with Prime Minister Netanyahu. It was not connected to Hegseth's visit.
