Critical Atlassian Flaw Lets Unauthenticated Attackers Read Known Files Across 8 Products

Atlassian disclosed a critical flaw, CVE-2026-21589, on October 5, rated 9.3 out of 10, affecting 8 Data Center products. An unauthenticated attacker can read specific files in each product's web application root directory if they know the exact file name and path. Atlassian has not yet released a patch.
