Tether shut down two Bitcoin mining sites in Uruguay's Florida department after a dispute with the state-owned utility, according to Reuters. The company had invested roughly $120 million in the sites. The power dispute cut electricity to the operations, halting one of Tether's major ventures outside its stablecoin business.
