Ripple Brings Custody to Absa as XRP Price Jumps 6.7%: Here’s What Launched

South African lender Absa switched on Absa Digital Asset Custody on Sept. 21, putting Ripple's custody technology live inside one of Africa's largest banking groups. The launch comes 11 months after the two firms first announced the partnership, with Absa's corporate and investment banking arm announcing the offering via X on Monday morning.
