Democrats accuse Trump of using prosecution threats to pressure election officials

Democratic groups sued the Trump administration Tuesday, accusing it of using unfounded voter fraud claims to pressure state election officials. The lawsuit seeks to block the administration from demanding states review federal lists of alleged noncitizens and deny ballots based on them. It cites a DHS claim of nearly 16,000 noncitizens in Nevada, later confirmed as 185, all citizens.
