Korean Police Traced Polymarket Users Through the Blockchain

South Korean police spent five months identifying individual Polymarket traders through public blockchain records, booking them on suspicion of illegal gambling. The platform was still legally accessible in Korea during the investigation but is now blocked entirely. The Gangwon Provincial Police Agency's cyber investigation unit led the effort.
