Rep. Max Miller appeared to let a Saturday withdrawal cutoff pass in Ohio's 7th Congressional District, closing Republicans' last practical window to replace him on the November ballot. The district favoring Republicans has become a potential Democratic pickup. Miller's spokesperson told The New York Times he would stay despite domestic-abuse allegations he denies. Miller had announced a $1 million campaign loan on Friday.
