Trump administration threatens to demolish Kennedy Center if renovations are blocked

The Trump administration threatened to demolish the Kennedy Center if a judge blocks its closure for a two-year renovation. In court filings Monday, Justice Department attorney Brantley T. Mayers repeatedly called the performing arts center a decrepit structure in dire need of the renovations led by the administration.
