Blanche warned of contempt risk in Epstein files case

A federal judge warned Attorney General Todd Blanche on Wednesday that he could face contempt proceedings if the Department of Justice fails to comply with an order involving Epstein files. U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan wrote that civil contempt would be “premature” now but could become appropriate if Blanche doesn't comply. The case stems from a lawsuit by journalist Katie Phang.
