President of South Korea believes AI models were used in bank hacks

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said Tuesday that AI models were likely used in hacks of several commercial banks, calling for an investigation. During a cabinet meeting, Lee cited signs of AI involvement causing public concern and anxiety, as reported by Reuters. Affected banks include Hana Bank, KB Kookmin Bank, and Shinhan.
