Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) was unseated Tuesday by primary challenger Luke Bronin, making 2026 a record year for Democratic primary losses. Larson is the 7th House Democrat ousted this year. Bronin raised $3.1 million to Larson's $2.7 million and had support from VoteVets. Larson suffered a widely publicized freeze-up during a House floor speech.
