Chainlink could enable cross-chain transfers of XGZ, a gold token, beyond Ethereum

Hong Kong Gold Exchange (HKGX) is preparing to enable cross-chain transfers of its gold-backed XGZ token, extending it beyond Ethereum. Chainlink announced on October 27, 2026 that GoldZip and Midas Labs are integrating its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to move XGZ across supported blockchain networks.
