CrowdStrike and U.S. authorities dismantled Sality, a malware botnet operating since 2003 that hijacked crypto transactions by replacing wallet addresses. The EggJagger payload monitored clipboards for Bitcoin or Ethereum addresses and swapped them with attacker-controlled ones, increasingly targeting crypto payments over the past eight years.
