App-makers are having a blast with the iPhone Duo, turning it into a retro Walkman

Developers are creating apps for Apple's unreleased foldable iPhone Duo, including Duo Man, a music player that mimics a retro Walkman. Created by indie developer Vidit Bhargava during a four-hour hackathon, the app lets users open the Duo to insert a cassette and close it to play, with authentic clicks and static. Such apps could help justify the nearly $2,000 price tag.
