Tether’s USDT Is “Coming Home” to Bitcoin After Over a Decade

Tether's USDT stablecoin is returning to the Bitcoin network this month through a project called Utexo. USDT first launched on Bitcoin in 2014 before moving mainly to Ethereum and Tron. Utexo will use the RGB protocol to keep transaction details off Bitcoin's public ledger, supporting private USDT transfers and direct BTC-USDT swaps.
