A National Guard member was shot in the leg late Sunday while attempting to break up a fight in Southeast Washington, D.C., police said Monday. Both the injured service member and the suspected shooter were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting occurred around 11:10 p.m. EDT.
