In Order to Make Bitcoin as Private as Zcash, Researchers

Three researchers proposed a plan to bring Zcash-style privacy to Bitcoin without altering its protocol. The approach would allow Bitcoin transactions to be 'whispered' rather than broadcast publicly, potentially enhancing privacy for BTC users while preserving the existing network's integrity.
