Uber eyes Delivery Hero in $15B acquisition bid

Uber agreed to a nearly $15 billion bid to acquire German-based Delivery Hero, creating the largest food-delivery group outside of China. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the transaction will double the number of markets where Uber offers mobility and delivery services. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in 2027.
