Iran warns vessels of fines, detention for violating Strait of Hormuz rules

Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority warned Sunday it will fine and detain commercial vessels violating its protocols for passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The authority blacklisted 45 named vessels, threatening cargo confiscation. It stated that any vessel cooperating with listed entities faces immediate action, escalating tensions in the critical shipping lane.
