Ethereum Liquidations Outpace Bitcoin in $1 Billion Crypto Crash

Crypto markets saw about $1.19 billion in liquidations over 24 hours, with over $1 billion from bullish bets. Ether traders lost about $356 million, more than bitcoin's $298 million, despite ether's smaller market value. Bitcoin fell from about $83,200 to roughly $80,400 before recovering.
