NYSE Eyes 24/7 Trading With New Tokenized Securities Platform

The NYSE is advancing a tokenized platform supporting 24/7 trading and instant settlement. The platform will support tokenized stocks, ETFs, fractional shares, and stablecoins. The NYSE joined DTC tokenization tests covering live securities transactions in July. Tokenized shares would retain dividends, voting rights, and existing ownership terms. The planned digital venue aims to connect regulated markets with blockchain technology.
