Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) defended his record after Democrats called on the GOP to apologize to former special counsel Jack Smith. Grassley's letter to Democrats made little reference to the conduct that prompted a previous letter from ranking member Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), leaving the dispute unresolved.
