EU Entity Suspected of Losing $106M in Crypto Exchange Heist: ZachXBT

Blockchain investigator ZachXBT reported that an unidentified EU entity may have lost over $106 million in crypto after an attacker withdrew funds from multiple centralized exchange accounts. The attacker converted much of the stolen stablecoins into Ether and Monero. The theft highlights risks of centralized exchanges and the challenge of tracing funds converted to privacy coins.
