Titanic artifacts auction blocked by federal judge

A federal judge in Virginia blocked the auction of over 100 artifacts salvaged from the Titanic shipwreck, calling the sale “an apparent threat” to the collection's integrity. Judge Rebecca Beach Smith ordered RMS Titanic, the company with exclusive salvage rights, to halt the sale pending further review to preserve the historical artifacts.
