Exclusive: Thune plans another leader bid as Senate GOP fights to survive

Senate Majority Leader John Thune told Axios he plans to run for another term as GOP leader even if Republicans lose the Senate majority. Thune said he sees the Senate as a firewall and will focus on impeachment and investigations if the House flips. He is giving senators leeway and cash to preserve GOP control.
