Sui Just Smashed Its Own Speed Record With 40 Million TPS

Sui recorded 40,614,180 transactions per second in an offchain tunnel test held Oct. 7 in Singapore. The result passed Sui's own July test of about 6.1 million TPS and beat a 20 million TPS target. More than 10,000 tunnels opened on Sui mainnet, carrying payments, games, and chat activity. CertiK acted as independent auditor.
